Buick Super Riviera (série 50, modèle 52)
News 01/10/09 Straight 8 engine, 263 cu, 128 hp. Dynaflow transmission, 3 speed. May 2007 new interior, except the carpet. June 2008 new roofcolor > blue metalflake, steering wheel also done. Airride system mounted, easy system : airbags replace the coil springs. Spare parts : pieces for the starter, solenoid, contact point, revision kit for carburator. Drives great, reliable car, 120km/h on the highway is no problem. She is a keeper but would consider to sell my car to buy a '49-'50 Buick Sedanette. There was a complete lpg system mounted in the car, took it out last june, can trow it in the deal. Car consume not yet 15 liter pro 100km. The black paint is not from top quality but looking good. Verry healthy car, could ride anywhere without problems, brakes working perfectly. Engine starts quickly. I installed a 100 amp alternator and new water temp, voltage and oil pressure gauges (oil pressure gauge still to be connected). I installed two front tri-bar red dot headlights, but you'll receive the original sealed beams with the car (only one is broken). New rear shock absorbers. Inside uphosltery (red and white leather) and roof liner are like new. 3 hub bolts must have been broken by the previous owner. Three new ones comes with the car. I can handle this myself but only after I've received a deposit. Ther are some minor imperfection on the body : a minor dent on the fender and hood, a little ding on the rear bumper. Also a little bit surface rust at the bottom of a fender and at wheel arches but nothing to worry about. Verry healthy frame. Car was imported from Louisiana between 1985 -89 ( I have a copy of the last Belgian title and there is still the decal of the last inspection made in the USA dated 03 october 1985 on the front windshield. Possibility to lower the price if you're not interested in the wheels and tires seen on the pictures, if you have other spare wheels, the bolt pattern is Chevy 5 X 4 1/2. Possibility to lower the price if you're not interested by the engine and/or the gear box, and also if you have some parts for one of my future projects to come like : Th700r4 trans. with HIS converter, perfo parts for BB olds or SB chevy, a lot of Holley '94 carbs, perfo parts for Flathead like : cam, alu light fly wheel, stroker kit ... or 5 inches dropped I-beam. No other car please. Last proposition : lower the price by swapping with a rigid bike frame + engine ( min 500 cc), and parts to build a nice motocycle.
